Tiffany Haddish arrested in Georgia

Tiffany Haddish, 42, was arrested in Georgia early Friday and charged with DUI.

The "Night School" actor was apprehended about 2:30 a.m. in Peachtree City, according to authorities.

According to Matt Myers, assistant chief of the Peachtree City Police Department, an officer saw Haddish stop in the road while on a different call.

Someone later contacted 911 to report a driver sleeping at the wheel on Highway 74, he said.

According to Myers, an officer observed a car that matched the description and "conducted a traffic stop as the vehicle turned into a residence's yard."

"Ms. Tiffany Haddish was arrested for Driving Under the Influence as a result of the subsequent investigation," Myers stated in an email.

Haddish was brought to the Fayette County Jail "without incident," according to him. She was not listed as a prison inmate as of Friday night.

A request for response from Haddish's representative was not returned.

Haddish is well known for her stand-up comedy and film "Girls Trip," which she released in 2017.
