Ridley Scott’s ‘The Last Duel’ Available On HBO

Why not remain indoors and catch up on current movies while the weather drop and COVID-19 instances climb higher than ever?

Many 2021 theatrical films, like Ridley Scott's historical epic The Last Duel, are now available on streaming services at no additional cost.

The movie, starring Matt Damon, Jodie Comer, Ben Affleck, and Adam Driver, is now available on HBO Max, just in time for a weekend movie night.

Potential viewers should be aware that the film contains many representations of sexual assault, so proceed with caution.

"The Last Duel" is very watchable, according to Decider's John Serba, who said, "Entertaining performances by its male actors are counterbalanced by Comer's energetic performance."

It's also a tonal mishmash, but that shouldn't deter you from giving it a go.

Even though Disney owns 20th Century Fox, don't expect to see The Last Duel on Disney's streaming service any time soon.

Instead, the movie is only available on HBO Max during its "Pay 1 window," which is when premium cable networks have exclusive rights to broadcast it.

This is because Disney is bound by a 10-year pact made in 2012 between 20th Century Fox and HBO.
